Pearl of Campania Capri extends over an area of 3 square km. Famous since the time of the Roman Emperor Tiberius, who built a villa where you can still see the ruins, the beauty of the island include the Certosa di San Giacomo, the Gardens of Augustus, Tiberius viewpoint, Villa San Michele , the square with the Clock Tower and the church of San Michele. An excursion by boat allows you to see up close the Faraglioni and visit the Blue Grotto and the many natural caves scattered along the coast such as the Arco Naturale, The White Grotto, Red Grotto , the Green Grotto, the Grotto of the Saints the grotto of the Certosa, the Belvedere and Arsenal.
Positano (14 km from Sorrento)
The Amalfi Coast, Campania pearl of the coast, located south of the Amalfi Coast. Typical of this coast are the limestone cliffs to the sea cliff. Positano is located along the coast which slopes down from the rocks until you get to the beach and it starts from the Mount St. Angelo  and three Pizzi  that from the arc of mountains that shelter it in a bowl. The homes of Positano share the same building facades with spacious balconies and domed roofs. The major industry is tourism but  also the clothing industry that  consists of Positano linen clothes and sandals made to measure.
Amalfi (31 km from Sorrento)
Amalfi gives its name to the entire Amalfi coast and is one of the most sought after tourist destinations of the Campania region. The town is located along the mountain slope where the entwing streets and staircases that give the village a characteristic appearance. Once in Amalfi, attention is captured by the magnificent architecture of the cathedral, built on the central square, then continuing along the road leading to the mills where you can still make paper with the methods of the past. Along with Venice, Genoa and Pisa, Amalfi is remembered as one of the four Maritime Republics.
Ravello (37 km from Sorrento)
The jewel of the divine Amalfi Coast is located on the top: here is Ravello eached through narrow streets, with many curves and steep overhanging the mountain slope. Ravello offers a magnificent panorama that you can see from strategic locations such as Villa Cimbrione or Villa Rufolo.
Sorrento
Sorrento rises above the sea on the northern coast of the peninsula. The coast is divided between the port area of Marina Piccola and the beach of Marina Grande, the workers from the resort town . The town center is Piazza Sant’Antonio, dominated by the church of Santa Maria delle Grazie. Worth visiting are the Renaissance cathedral and the bell tower, the fifteenth century loggia of the Sedil Dominova square, the church dedicated to St. Francis of Assisi and the adjoining cloister. The public gardens you can enjoy a magnificent view of the bay and Vesuvius. Two museums enrich the cultural history of the city: the Correale Museum and the Museum of Wood Inlay.
Continuing along the main road through Sorrento will get to Massa Lubrense, located at the corner of the peninsula where the Sorrento and the Amalfi Coast come together at Punta Campanella, that has become a protected marine park.
Pompei (28 km from Sorrento)
The world famous Pompeii is related to its geographical location it was built on the slopes of Vesuvius. Considered among the most important archaeological sites in the world, Pompeii entered history  in the morning of 24 August 79 AD when a sudden and violent eruption of the volcano covered the town with ash and lapilli, causing death and destruction. Thanks to extensive excavations are being unearthed ancient buildings such as the Villa of the Mysteries, the House of the Fauno, the Amphitheatre and the house of the Vetti.
Herculaneum (41 km from Sorrento)
Herculaneum, also built on the slopes of Vesuvius, was submerged and covered with a thick layer of lava material as a result of tremendous volcanic eruption in 79 AD The excavations of the old part of Herculaneum began three centuries ago and was found purely by chance, in the area of the theater. The Archaeology of Herculaneum is made up of houses, shops, and also of mansions and villas. Among the most important and best preserved buildings discovered during the excavations are the baths, the House of Relief telephone and the Villa of the Papyri.
Naples (52 km from Sorrento)
Naples, the capital of the south, presents its glorious past in memory of the many monuments witnessing its rich cultural and artistic life. Just a short walk to the port of Beverello you can see the Castel dell ‘Ovo and Maschio angioino, located near the Galleria Umberto I and Teatro San Carlo that pave the way for Plebiscite Square and the magnificent Royal Palace. Moving to the hills of the city you can reach Capodimonte, famous for its porcelain, not to mention the countless museums  Renaissance and Baroque churches scattered throughout the city.
Caserta (75 km from Sorrento)
A few miles from Naples is the city of Caserta, entered history in the eighteenth century thanks to the Spanish domination and to the glories of King Charles III commissioned the architect Luigi Vanvitelli to build a palace of the splendor of Versailles. The result was the Royal Palace of Caserta, that became the Royal Palace, where you can admire the ancient and valuable statues, furniture and paintings, and three kilometers from a garden adorned with fountains and marble basins of precious beauty.
Ischia (Naples, 13 miles by sea)

Procida (12 nautical miles from Naples)
Procida is the third largest island of Campania. Like Ischia, Procida also has volcanic origins and witness the craters scattered on the island. The coastline is jagged, disconnected and a boat trip you can admire the most beautiful island. Procida is the only town on the island, there are charming colorful houses near the small streets and quiet, where even today the inhabitants are dedicated to agriculture and fisheries.
